Good news my Leafy friends. Soon you will have Alzner anchoring your blueline for a mere 6+ million per year.

I won't have 7 years unless it's certain that the contract can't be bought out for any considerable cap space.

Allow me to be the first to point out:

This is incredibly bad "art", and you couldn't pay me to wear that sweatshirt.

I love that he equates a $27 million dollar contract to jail

Sources say Lou is working on sending picks to the Caps now to gain Alzners rights so he can get that 8th year.

Eklund gave the deal the kiss of death so fortunately we won't have Alzner at 6+ mill

amazing

Go take a look at r/The_Donald.

I honestly have a hard time telling if they're being serious or poking fun at alt-right. I feel like it may be a mix.

Nice troll - more used to getting trolled by Nucks Fans.

As to Alzner, had lots of potential as a high first rounder, has not performed up to expectations and as a 28 year old 3-6 d-man not what Leafs are after.
Soooooooooooooooooooo don't bet on it. Unlike the past management regimes for Leafs, this group is acting much more responsibly. Unlike the Oilers who won 4 lottos, Leafs won one, and that will be enough. There are no imbeciles currently in Leaf management, like McTavish and Lowe, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that Dubas, the GM of the Marlies is more competent than Chiarelli. So your suggestion is inaccurate to say the least.

I hope this management group wouldn't make that kind of signing.

If that's where you get news from, you need help. Check out Ek's playoff predictions. He predicted the Leafs would miss the playoffs, and finish with 87 points one week before the end of the season. The only predictions he got right were the ones made after games were played.

Tough to say.

Will be lots of competition for jobs.

Seems like vailev is done

- Tumbleweed

Valiev has never been impressive when I saw the Marlies.

Nielsen was only OK. He had flashes early in the season (not games I saw). but whenever I have watched him, he really hasn't stood out. I honestly don't know where he fits, bottom pairing one day, fill in on the second pairing?

You're not suggesting Eklund isn't reliable are you? He runs the site and even appeared on a Sportsnet trade deadline show one year.

Can we just trade for Dion instead?

Nylander, Kapanen and a 1st should do it.

Gotta give him credit, not every GM would have won the lottery like he did.
