I take Hischier... almost same amount of skill, has possibly greater ceiling, Shero style.

You could trade down if someone gives you something really good, but I think Hischier is the most surefire pick of the draft... despite my high opinion of Mittelstadt, Vilardi, Tippet, etc, whom I think will all be very good players. Even Heiskanen might become a solid #2 d-man, and Makar has the potential to be a #1 d-man (though likely will be #3 PP Ace). I'd love to be picking top 9 this draft; I don't think any of those teams want to trade up.

I could see someone at #10-15 wanting to move way up and give up a really good young player for it.

I'm 70% Nico but I don't think anyone should be upset if the Devils draft Patrick.

I agree 100%. Castron has a great track record of drafting. I trust him 100%.
