That skating to the corner thing he does after getting scored on would get old real fast. - Scoob
I'd rather him do that 200 times a year than Neuvirth do nothing after getting scored on 250 times a year. |

Cam Russell, the general manager of Hischier's junior club, the Halifax Mooseheads,.
"You're getting a star and you're getting a star for a long time," Russell said. "You're not getting a second-line center. You're getting a first-line center that's going to lead your team and play lots of minutes and bring you lots of fans in your building because he's just going to be a treat to watch — he's going to be exciting.
"If you look at the big games that he's played, that's when he's played his best hockey. He's a competitor, he's a gamer and he'll definitely be a star in the NHL." |

Can't be disappointed with either at #2. Almost relieved the Flyers don't have to make the decision. Just be happy with who is left. |

Since we have the #2 overall pick, are Angelo and his cronies gonna go and boo whoever we pick?
Also, the Flyers have had the #2 overall pick twice in a dozen drafts, and they have both been the weakest draft classes (as top-2 picks go) over that period. But I'd rather have #2 than a higher slot. |

Fairly similar to what he said about Voracek before the 2007 draft. |

He made reference to MacKinnon drouin etc and seemed to imply hischier was better. Idk if others took it that way. Jake has flashed his potential for half a season would love him to get healthy stat healthy and put it together like that again. |

Truthfully I think I prefer this kid. I know very little about both but seems Hischier is the better skater and the injury concern of Patrick is there for me - valid or not. |

Is anybody have one/both of these issues:
- Page scrolling not working (having the page get stuck at the top/bottom)
- Replies not posting the first time (getting kicked back to the reply page when posting) - jmatchett383

Fair enough. It's just that neither one of Patrick or Hischier project as "sure thing" #1 superstars like most drafts have. - jmatchett383
I think the top 2 are sure things. Just not maybe superstars like Crosby/Ovechkin household names. Who are the ones you're talking about? McDavid? Matthews? |

Well. Sens now have to bring the offense. They are doing nothing there |

Not that I think they'll have any trouble hitting the cap floor, but who are the bigger contract that Vegas might take to eat up some cap space. You'd have to think that they'll be looking at staggering expiry years in some way. I'm not sure if BPA is necessarily the only strategy in an expansion draft. |

Is the plan for the expansion draft that we won't see the list? Or do we get a sneak peak? And Vegas is only going to announce their choices at the awards show? If they can truly trade around not selecting people or selecting people to flip to other teams, those trades would be fascinating but it sounds like they aren't going to be very public. - FlyersGrace
I believe they announced recently that they lists will be made public after they are given to the teams. And the pick announcements will be at the awards show in Vegas. |
