In five years, there will be at least 5 or 6 all-stars and 10-20 regular lineup regulars out of the first two rounds. It's not a strong draft, but it's still an NHL draft and the talent level is sneakily high with these young kids in any year. I just hope we land 2 out of the 10-20, 5 and 33 give us a really good shot. I agree, I would not trade down and hope JB does not.

Sedins and havlat are the only nhl regulars to come out of the first round.... this one could be.... nay, will be worst. Hope wee get one of the 3 or 4 regulars to play meaningful games. I'm not getting my hopes up this year.... perhaps ill be pleasantly surprised but.... most likely not.

I like a lot of the top 10 to be players. Vilardi, pedersson, liljgren, glass and middlestadt all look very good to me. Yamamoto could be a late steal. Makar has big boom/bust. The top2 look like very solid players.

Yes there are valuable pieces to have and Neem's list points to a good group too. The let down, may be, lack of can't miss superstars that are NHL ready, to have an impact right away.
