Marner and Eichel never played in the AHL . - VANTEL
I know you aren't that dumb either. I had said minors and junior. Marner stayed in junior(CHL) and Nylander played in the minors(AHL). Kadri did both juniors and minors. |

Marner did go back for another year of junior when many thought he had nothing left to prove there though
Eichel is Eichel ...he was good enough already |

But if they are ready, then what's the point of playing Megna, Chaput and Skille types ahead of them? - Nuck4U
Because they can play in the minors and dominate there until someone is sold at the Trade deadline. The reason why Detroit had a 25 year playoff run. Always let their plays be fully ready and sign plugs. Great drafting and two awesome centers helped. Plus Lidstrom |

Ya totally (frank)ing with you but i remember you pumping the tires on Sutter pretty hard. I honestly don't know if there is much of a difference between the two players IMO. - manvanfan
I still think he is a big asset |

Of course they do ...but the comment was referring to kesler seeing the sinking ship ...if you pay players more than they might get elsewhere it can change a players tune - Redmile247
Just to clarify. Are you alluding that Kesler would not have asked to be traded if they offered him a better contract? |

Eichel is a much older birthday like Matthews and played his first year of College and destroyed College. 71 points in 40 games.
Boeser's best year his first year was 60 in 42 games.
So Van can expect BB to be a 60 point player. |

Marty Mcsorley has a few. He's not better than anyone. This doesn't mean poop. |

Nah I don't think sending him back would be ...ideally you would like him to play against stiffer competition as a D man ...but when your options are limited what do you do ...you'd probably like to have him not be in van with a potential tank year next year ...but maybe if you can put him with a Tanev and have him focus more on his personal development and not worry about wins and losses that could be decent |

No ...not really ...kesler is a different animal than those two ...I still think he would have wanted out no matter what ...he knew he could still get paid anywhere probably |

Okay they can cause of no waiver risk. But if they are ready. Like we are talking about 20-22yr olds here. What's the issue? Plus do Nucks really have much to sell that's not part of the rebuild?
Are you hoping for a pump and dump of other players? You realize in the cap tight NHL this is a highly limited move. It's almost getting to be like winning a lotto position in finding a trade partner to take your scraps. Most plugs wind up with no takers at TDL.
Also, Detroit didn't sign plugs to keep players in the minors. They had a stable of good vets so had no spots to integrate a rookie. What Canucks were in place to do before 2014 but drafted poorly after integrating Kesler, Bieksa, Burrows and Hansen. |

I don't know why is Kapanen still in the minors? Why did Nylander go back after being a PPG player? Why would Toronto do that?
I realize that in a cap tight NHL that Toronto was able to have $10 in contracts in the minors.
Drew Stafford, P.A. Pareanteau got 6th round picks.
Jarome Iginla a conditional 4th. Dwight King a 4th.
Viktor Stalberg a 3rd.
Tomas Jurco a 3rd
Ron Hainseys a 2nd
Vern Fiddler a 4th.
Clearly it's hard to find people to take old scraps. |

Does anyone know or remember from World juniors or u18s or from a website whether or not MARTIN NECAS plays strictly center or does he play the wing too? |
