Kane is bigger, faster, better, younger...he was the 4th overall pick, Eberle was 22nd.

Eberle has a career 0.753 PPG average, Kane has a 0.605 in 11 less games. Kane is one of the most overrated forwards in the game, and sports a lower PPG than Bozak, who wasn't drafted (and they both play defense about as well as each other).


Kane being the fourth overall pick means absolutely bugger all. Luke Schenn was picked fifth in the same year that Karlsson went fifteenth, and we all know how that worked out.

Saber fans keep saying they need to improve the D. They want to trade Kane. Well Nucks have Sbisa he's ripe for that and Subban for their PP. As Kane will probably leave as a UFA better to do that now then lose for nothing. A TDL deal won't happen given his cap hit for a contender so keep dreaming. Not many teams will give up core assets to get him at his cap hit and one year away from UFA.
