Took me 14 to see LA win.
I wasn't born in 67. Get that through your head
That's all that matters I can careless how long it takes for a franchise to see a championship. In fact I've seen 2 in20 LOL
Do you think the Boston Red Sox give a poop when their team won the championship? The answer is no. Do you think Cubs fans give a shot when the last time they won? The answer is NO. Do you think Cleveland Cavalier fans gave a poop when their team won the championship? Answer is no. The Chicago Blackhawk fans do you think I give a poop the last time they won was about 1960? The answer is NO. And you are rangers even in 1994. It took them a while to. Do you think their friends gave a poop? The answer is NO
Duck fans are the only franchise fans that give a poop when another fan base won cause they think it matters

Good series. Better team won...tonight anyways.
Enjoy the run. It's unlikely guys like Getzlaf, Perry and Kesler have many more in them. |

But we have plenty of players that do. With our D, we'll be relevant for the foreseeable future. |

So how did the Sucks do it? How did they win a series they had no business winning? We know Satan(Bettman) probably wanted a certain amount of souls. We also know that Corey Perry has neither a soul nor a brain cell. Where did the Sucks get an extra soul to fill in for Perry? That is the question on my mind. Well anyhow, with the Preds coming in, we all hope that the evil will be defeated at last. |

My favorite part of the series was how Lucic was on the ice for nearly every critical Ducks goal. For such a large salary he is quite brutal positionally, he pounces when he should sit back and he sits back when he should pounce. Love how Lindholm always seems to punk him at some point too |

Oilers should've taken the series in six. That being said the Ducks played their best game of the series when they needed to. No disrespect but your defense is lacking and the Preds will take advantage of this glaring weakness. I knew when Justin Williams lost a game 7 earlier in the night that things were a changing. Good luck moving forward. |

You're surprised?
In my day, if we were given an unfair call or a game winning "freebie" we would just bow our heads, not draw attention, and GTFO before they changed their minds. lol
These Ducks (including the players) think they actually deserved it. I'm happy with the Oilers' long playoff push but it's very frustrating that they pretty much won this series if it weren't for a few very obvious officiating blunders.
It's the first time I have really watched the Ducks play and I don't like what I see. There is a certain lack of class to the whole organization it seems. I was especially surprised by Getzlaf and the way he acts between whistles, there's no need for that when you have his skill level and size. Perry, Lucic, Kesler, Kassian, etc. we expect the idiocy...but I always thought Getzlaf was in the elite, almost ambassador to the game category...he's not. |

If not for Getzlaf this series is probably over in 4 or 5 games. |

Should have, could have, but you did not. Yes, calls went the Ducks way at times, we got bounces at times, that was the same for the Oilers as well.
Ducks arguably have one of the best blue lines in the league, you're smoking good stuff to think otherwise. Besides Theo's blunder yesterday (he's young, growing pains) our D was money at boxing out the crease and moving the puck.
This is going to be a tough WCF, Preds are very balanced.
The Oilers are a good team and will have years of great hockey, it was a rollercoaster of a series.

I'll give you that. This series had a little of everything. Much like the regular season, Ducks we're just a little bit better at the end. Pacific rivalry for the next few years I would say.

Your defense has been very suspect. Last night you tightened it up after the goal. Potential doesn't make it the greatest D. |

Ducks were the better team for a majority of the series if you look at the numbers/corsi (hockeystats.ca is your friend here).

Yet if not for a couple of blown goalie interference calls it likely doesn't even go 7 games. Corsi is ok but in a game of bounces like hockey it's frequently not your friend. |
