Stepan is a very smart player that makes for a lack of speed, shot and all around production, Rangers need to revamp the D the same way they did the forwards, they need cap space and Step's contract would be ideal to trade, Sather really (frank)ed us with the clauses, guy should have handed over the reigns years earlier
- KreiderBomb

They should hire St. Louis as a skating and conditioning coach and glue him to Stepan and Hayes.

That would have been a disaster.

Staal's no trade becomes limited after next year, so I think we might have to deal with one more year of him.

as long as one Ranger gets an arbitration date, I believe they get a second buyout period in August

since Girardi goes to a NTC July 1st with a 15 team list, they could potentially try to trade him and if they get no takers, buy him out in August

just think, they could be stuck with Callahan's NMC too

Tampa is going to have to get very creative this offseason.

Despite Hayes and Miller contributing absolutely nothing we outscored them 20-18 for the series, the main culprit is the D and the turnovers by the forwards in the neutral zone and obviously the two blown leads, Hank is too old to carry a team with this many defensive holes, the grade A chances against through two series is staggering

No doubt McDavid is the most talented and fun to watch right now. I was referring to Ovie in terms of entertainment on and off the ice, they way he celebrates every goal, how he embraces the Olympics and the All Star Game and most importantly the fans, and the TONS of charity work he does
- MiloslavHorava

Yes he is entertaining in that regard, p.k. is up there too, unless you're like milbury

I'm dying to see what Sakic does after he publicly announced that there was going to be "a lot of turnover" in the offseason.

PK is fun to watch and does amazing work off the ice. Milbury looks like he is made out of cottage cheese.

I'd imagine Duchene, Barrie and maybe even Landeskog are gone. Doubt he moves Mackinnon though.

One of the 2 of G & Staal have to go, no conversation otherwise. I would dump Staal first. Re sign Smith & part ways with Holden & or Kline.

I did not know this. I thought Girardi actually had a decent playoff. Enough so that a defensive desperate team may trade for him??

Girardi to the Stars for Kari Lehtonen. Then we buy him out.

you know, I brought up protecting Grabner earlier this year and everyone said no way you can protect him over the other obvious guys. well I would say he brings a lot more to this team than a Miller or Stepan or Hayes or Kreider. Need to keep him going forward to keep the speed identity. ESP if AV is your coach

I'm fully on board with trading Stepan and Miller this offseason to remake this core a bit and bring back some help on D. please do not back up the Brinks truck for Shatty, big mistake IMO.

Scott Arneil, as Big Game Brass once said. Take a (frank)ing seat baby!

I think Vegas would choose Fast or Lindberg over Grabner regardless

I wonder if they can give up a pick to get them to take Girardi or Staal. Like that 1st round pick

How high of a pick would you trade Vegas for them to take Holden over Fast and Lindberg?
