Yea I don't know what they do to fix that & I don't care.

The problom is the choices are always limited when your talking about a certain aspect. Like with Doughty, I'm touching a nerve with a certain family member lol, but the truth is I can't think of another guy who fits the bill of who I'm saying they need. LA appears to be in line to be selling off players, so it could be an opportunity to grab someone like that. Bottom line is the same leaders have been doing this team in for years now in one way or another, and I personally am tired of watching it and that window we all dread is seriously closing by the minute basically

Dude, Duchene is not that good. Not even close. And he has a bit of a reputation for being a female dog. The shine is off him.
- Pete V

The reports out there were that Sakic was looking for a young top-4 defenseman, a roster player and a high-end prospect. Seeing as that, with Skjei's graduation to the big league, the Rangers don't really have a high-end prospect...I think Skjei, Miller, 1st would be about where they'd have to start.

I'm not debating Duchene's merit and whether or not he's worth that price...just saying what I think it would take for them to land the guy. Sakic didn't back down at the trade deadline, I see no reason he will over the summer. It would take some serious collusion to have every interested GM low-ball him enough to get that price to drop significantly.

I can't recall where I saw it, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'm almost positive there was some stuff out there that they were asking for Barzal/Pulock/Nelson from the Isles in return for Duchene. I wouldn't pay that either, for whatever that's worth.

talk about leadership being the issue, the Bruins are LOADED with leaders, they lost to Ottawa in 6 games too

if Ottawa beats the Penguins, do the Penguins lack leadership too?

I think the Rangers lost more do a combination of Erik karlsson and some bad luck more than anything else

Well come up with a trade then and not be a total doosh about taking about it. Otherwise go strum your guitar and have Philly lick your balls

I think JT Miller, Sean Day and a 1st round pick for Doughty could work

If he's taking 3/4th line money I will gladly stick him on the 4th line in place of who we lose in expansion.

2 years $2M per?

You know how it is when you lose a series, have to nitpick anything & everything that went wrong. WE need answers, we need the truth...even if we can't handle the truth.

IDT he's taking that little so its not worth it to go back & forth. I just think Ryan Callahan is pretty much done as a player now.

It took me 3 seasons to finally take a long look at the direction they've taken, and it's hit a cross roads for me personally. The one thing that's consistent is the leadership isn't getting it done. Whoever people consider it to be is up to that person, but to me it's Stepan, Hank, Mcdonagh and Nash. Hank is the only one that can't actually go anywhere, so that leaves the other 3. If some of that doesn't change I can't beleive in them anymore. I'm not embarrassed like some, or want to blow it up like some, but major changes to that need to be made or we're looking at the same results and then it'll be to late. I've seen enough unfortunately

You sit there in your girly Raggie uniform & talk about words like Power play, effort, teamwork?! Teams like the Penguins use those words as a code to live by, you use them as a punchline! Because deep down in Madison Square Garden you talk about these things but you don't really know what they're about. I suggest you grab a stick, or a mask & defend a post, or I would rather you just say thank You & go on with your day. Either way, I don't give a damn, about what you think your team is entitled to!!!
