Unfortunately with the NTC kicking in we don't have that luxury. The only time I've seen him show emotion on the ice is when he yelled at Hank to calm down. I love guys like Smith, exactly the type of guys we need to bring in.

I just don't get being a fan of a team and hating the players on your team. Hank has is issues, we have discussed them here, but to actually hate a player who really was the main key to bringing this club back to respectability is frankly absurd.

Fans do take salaries to heart way to much. Like they're paying them out of there own pockets

Most of the time it's money earned over the years too, like Girardi or Stepan. All hit a point where they're generally overpaid. They wouldn't play hockey so long if the money wasn't so good once FA comes. Sports are a joke with salaries all across the world...mailmen should be making more then athletes, just saying lol

You may have heard about the mail carrier who got hit by a car in N Babylon? Anyway, we found out today they tried to fire him because he set up a Gofundme page. The guy lost his leg, broken bones all over, head trauma, etc can never work again in any fashion basically. Now he'll get 3/4 salary through comp only, that's it, no disability etc. Has two kids going to college, bills like anyone else...but because it's "against the law" to ask for money as gov employee. Which in theory I can understand, but have a god damn heart. It's the post office in a nutshell, they have no regard for people or customers for that matter. It's a shame.
