I'm not sure how to feel about Stepan at this point after some cool down time. It would be so great if he busted his ass all summer and hired a skating coach. Just show something that says you're trying to improve your deficiencies.

Unfortunately with the NTC kicking in we don't have that luxury. The only time I've seen him show emotion on the ice is when he yelled at Hank to calm down. I love guys like Smith, exactly the type of guys we need to bring in.

Hank wants to badly win the very last game of an NHL postseason for once, or as a consolation prize, that of a World tournament or Olympics at least 1 more time.
Imagine his feeling had Talbot gone on to win the Cup with Edmonton in June, or if he should do so at some point in the future prior to Hank doing so or not.

I guess I separate the two. I had a guy in a store in line with me who was a Rangers fan and said the same thing when it happened. I just laughed.
