Sean Avery calling out Kreider
Sean Averyā€¸ Verified account @imseanavery 8h8 hours ago
And WHY doesn't #20 go head to head with their captain and punish him for 6 games EVERY SINGLE SHIFT?? - jimbro83
Kreider is definitely one of the more frustrating Rangers ever. A man possessed last night, but a sleeping giant the other 11 games pretty much. Trade his ass too lol |
|
|
|
This comes down to Miller, Hayes and Kreider absolutely poopting the bed. And AV for the teams inability to close out games. 3 times we blew leads late this playoffs and all 3 times we lost those games. |

I am so disturbed at Kreider right now
watching him in the 3rd, you knew he had that in him, why did he hold back? I just don't get it |

What is the dead cap space if they buy out Girardi and Staal? I really think that's where they have to start this offseason and go from there.
Girardi will always be in my heart as a top 5 favorite player all time for me personally. The blood sweat and tears he gave are pretty much second to nobody in my lifetime. But his time is up and they need to move on
Staal, it's a shame what happen. Old slow and weak happen pretty fast. Maybe the eye injury too. But he is an absolute shell of the Staal a few years ago. I remember when he was out there and it was a sense of calm and steadiness that you felt, that is long gone now |

Pretty devestated, don't know what to say. Gonna be another long offseason looking for answers. Hank will be another yr older next season & I just don't even know what they can do to try & get over the hump. Sad sad day.
Jan, despite a few issues we had here & there I wanted to TY for another great season of Rangers blogging. It's a tough job & certainly not one you get compensated for, so I want you to know you are appreciated. |

Going to be hard to do this right. I do think that NMC/NTC and all that is a huge joke. Those should not be given out as liberally as Sather and Gorton had done in the past. |

Gorton is NYRs saving grace. He will make moves to improve this team.

I feel the same way. I was not upset after the game; after blowing two games we did not deserve to get out of this series because our lack of focus in crucial moments would have been swept over.
I think Gorton, can screw this up but let's hope for the best. I think AV and Arniel needs to be let go prior to the draft and have a coach in place by then.
Only thing crappy about yesterday is that our team[edit] will likely look the same from the top down to ice level. |

I think they need to just buyout Staal, not G. I feel that would be too much Cap Space lost for both buyouts. G played better this season and showed with a longer offseason, he can still play (maybe at least sheltered minutes). Staal is clearly a shell of his former self. It's a shame because he was such a solid Dman before the injuries. With that the remaining D to start the rest of the offseason should be McD, Skeji, G. Bring back Smith and look to get a top 4. Either drop Holden or keep him as 7th D.
I haven't followed our AHL team so is there a Dman that can/is ready to step up? Graves? Another? |

I think Graves took a step back this year, but they signed these two free agents in Pionk and Bereglazov who could be in mix right away |

Surprised I don't see it here.
The first guy that has to go is Derek Stepan. 12 playoff games, 41.94% Faceoff percentage, a -3, and 6 soft points.
Two way center my ass. This guy is horrendous. $6 million? Yeah he's scored some clutch goals in past years during the playoffs but it's over. He should be first on the list. He's gotta go! |
