I mentioned him earlier in the season but Paul LaDue would be someone to target from the Kings. |

Shattenkirk is a disaster waiting to happen. His age, length of contract, cap hit and defensive deficiencies will quickly get annoying to talk about. - nyrangers9479
That's why I said he only makes sense here if he will take about 20% less on a shorter term, than the likely $6M to $7M for 5 or 6 years that some other team may offer him, if he wants to play for his favorite hometown team he rooted for while being raised in New Rochelle, NY. There is no current better RH shooting option that we know of yet THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE other than Shatty to fill those offensive needs of ours. How the coach uses him at even strength will also play part in how deficient or not he will be defensively if signing here while the window to win is still opened for now. |

I want Shattenkirk, sorry but we need him, RH high end offensive defenseman who costs us nothing, they don't grow on trees, we need to make our top 4 great again |

Buyout Girardi and then sign Shattenkirk and Smith
McDonagh - Shattenkirk
Skjei - Smith
And then Staal, Holden and Klein. Hopefully Klein has a bounce back year. That injury really screwed him. |

Think G can still be useful as a third pairing. Staal, forget it. Dude is like a one eyed giraffe on ice.
Him spinning like a top with no stick and falling down by the blueline last night was hilarious |

I think Gorton will make the necessary changes . He saw last year how slow and small the Rangers were and did well making changes without giving away the few assets they have . If he needs to add this years first with say a Staal trade I'm good with that . I think most on here know what I think about AV so I won't go into that now . I'm tired of Hank's Little temper tantrum's but can't see him being moved .
I'm not as upset this years as I was at last years first round poop kicking . I'm interested to see where Gorton takes this team in the off season .

Now that you said it, absolutely not. I always base my wanting or not wanting of players on 1 play. |

Wash choking again I got no love for Caps but I despise the Pens. Was rooting for Ottawa either way but it don't seem like anybody gonna be able to stop them. |
