I see your point, but it was the WAY he didn't produce this post-season that has me concerned. Unwilling to attempt the more difficult path. Never looking to drive the net or take the shot.
Unless we find out he is injured, as I speculated in the first round, I would try to move him before the rest of the GM's get more evidence of soft play. - Tonybere
Fair,
I'd like to give a 24 year old kid another shot.
I consider this his first playoff where he actually had a significant role.
the other years he wasn't as involved.
He is an RFA after next year so they still have his rights anyway

To my point earleir, I think Ovechkin would have made this a look a little smoother...
Kid looks like he is being held hostage lol
Needs some time to grow ito the ambassador role that Ovie plays

The funniest part of that pic is McDavid is listed at 6'1" and he looks like Shaq next to those people. |

I think JT Miller has an insane amount of trade value - jimbro83
He's only 24 and has a lot of potential, I don't think he's getting dealt but if he does it won't be for nothing of value, he's still got a lot of growing up to do |

Here's a not so crazy idea, trade Step and Miller to help fix the D and sign Justin Williams to go along with Sutter and provide that Cup experience again |

I wonder if his upcoming RFA status hurts some value knowing he is already on a bridge deal and will be looking for a big raise. I dont know if you can pay Miller $5+ mil a year but at the same time he wont come at a bargain at all coming off a 56 point year. I think Miller is a very good player, but if he posts another 55 point year next year, something about him just makes me not want to pay him $5+ per
I think the same way at the time Stepan got his contract his market value was $6+ and thats what he got, but I know a lot of Rangers fans groan at his pricetag currently |

For me its the NTC kicking in. That could be rough.
I don't dislike Stepan as much as others but he obviously is a big risk going forward.
Miller I would like to keep, but if they could make a trade to better the team, It wont bother me whoever gets traded.

Thats a duck, so its not like he got fried sitting on a wire...lol
he got blasted in flight...
Can we get one video a day of a duck dying? we are 2 for 2! - MiloslavHorava
I'll never forget in a Mets Braves game 30 yrs ago or so Dion James hit a fly ball to leftfield & the ball hit a bird in mid air & it died on the field. And then there was Randy Johnson's fastball that killed a seagull in mid pitch! |

What do you think his bird friends said as they watched that... There was definitely one bird who was like,
"Dude, dont go yet, lets wait for the inning to be over...
OMG!!!
I told you so!!! |
