Hell the way some Rangers were playing in front of him, if I was Hank I would have been Billy Smithing my own players.

I wanna see Bereglazov get a fair shot along with Graves, though Jimbo said hes taken a step back this year. Who knows maybe half way thru the year Day is playing well enough to get a shot

He have enough young guys with the ones mentioned here, as well as Kampfer, Bodie, Zborovskiy, etc. that Klein, Holden, Clendenning (RFA) AND Staal should not be returning in whatever fashion in can be managed.

Holden is atrocious more often than he is good and just as often as he is okay.

Not that I am hoping for it, but Injury news should come out soon. It MAY explain some player's poor play / provide a reason.
If there are any, hopefully they are things some time off and minor surgery can quickly fix.

HUGE mistake. The 7 years he's here well be happy with 2 and talking about him like Staal for 5. Washington was considering making him a healthy scratch bc of how bad his defensive play has been against PITT. Doesn't sound like the type of guy you want to carry for 7 years.

We are actually on the same page on this one. I don't think Shatty is the answer, and I think it would be a contract that the Rangers would greatly regret after a couple of years. I want a more complete defensemen if the Rangers have to pay $6-7 million annually.

Absolutely. I think players definitely should be able to call each other out. Imo because it was a Stepan who wasn't having the best playoffs, to put it nicely, if I was Hank I would have been like, really, you are telling me to calm down. How bout you show some (frank)ing emotion.
