23 years old and has really underperformed so far. CBJ are loaded on defense and need an impact forward badly. Something like Larsson for Oilers, only in this senerio, Leafs give up less than the oilers did.

i wouldn't make him a primary target. if we can acquire 2 dmen, i'd be interested in him as the 2nd.

I just hope that we all realize that said Anaheim defenseman won't actually look like said Anaheim defenseman once he plays for the Leafs.

It's easier to play defense for Anaheim

Murray kinda sucks at 5-6 in Columbus. Jvr seems like a high price for him.

I starting to think their can be 2 big trade periods for dmen:

1) Teams trading dmen pre-draft to protect from losing them;

2) LV will still be able to draft up to thirteen 4/5 type dmen. I could see vegas auctioning off 5 or 6 dmen post draft.

It may work. We would have to keep trading for all of their boring defensively responsible forwards though.

Admittedly, i have a hard time valuing murray.

lots of potential, but hasn't played up to it.

seems like a 1 for 1 prospect swap is for another highly rated underperforming prospect. Probably means the leafs are out of it.
