"what if" they were banking on someone to bring the locker room together instead of splinter it? As well as teach the d prospects a thing or two? Subban is a really good player but he plays with no class on the ice. Nice that he gave money to the children's but that doesn't mean he can't be a wiener.

Preds played well, Hawks played like ggggggarbage. Subban was mostly a non-factor except for his antics.

Got some points against the blues though so everyone is lining up for a lick.

Great blog! Keep it up please: there's too much panic reporting around Montreal these days and this blog is always an interesting read with good insight.
History will judge who won the trade. Though I would rather have kept PK in Montreal, Weber deserves full marks and a ton of credit. He's a great defenseman who helped the Habs win games. Unfortunately, he cannot do it on his own (to his credit, he doesn't try to either). Canadiens inability to trade/develop or buy talent is becoming a tragedy.
Personally what I hated most was the way that Therrien used the media behind the scenes (it was him) to circulate slander and bad rumours about PK. The press had a field day with it last year and much of it was either untrue or (real) locker-room talk, not at all meant for public discussion.
Anyways, Canadiens management have a period of strategic planning coming up with the expansion draft and contracts to sign: summer will be interesting! Bergevin's future is in the balance!!

From a NSH fan, zero complaints about Weber, well except for one, he would shoot from the blue line miss the net and give the other team a break away. Great guy once he gets the feel for a system he is a amazing player..
