I'm a big Sens fan now...
...but I can't imagine how they beat the frigg'n Pens.
The thought of Pens vs. Ducks makes me a little sick to my stomach...
Now let's see if the Ducks gag up another one, just like the Caps.
Never thought I'd say this either, but go Oil? That doesn't feel right either.
Just get this crap over with and get on to the expansion draft. |

I'm interested to see an Oilers v Penguins Finals - and I'd be rooting for the Oilers. They have some flaws - but all-in-all I like the combination of skill and grit they have with their forward core. Sure would be nice if the Hawks could roll with Lucic and Maroon.
Ducks already relinquished the first goal - really hope they crap the bed in yet another game 7. |

No way. This game should be a 0-0 tie. Except for ZEROvetchkin. Both goals on him and his repulsive defensive habits. They will NEVER go all the way with him as captain. - 6628
Its past the point of any enjoyment for me watching Ovi lose, more pitiful than anything.
But viewing Kesler, Orpik and Trotz finishing up the track is must see stuff. |

I hope they make Panarin watch tape of this game and especially OV. Being a one trick shooting pony doesn't get it done this time of year. Everybody on the Pens diving in front of pucks in their zone and that (frank)ing pos #8 half assed everything in his. (frank)er has no respect for the game. Love to see Pierre shove a micropone in his face to explain wtf happened. Again. If he gets pissed he should go look in the mirror. He gave game 7 to the Pens all by himself. |

Agreed - but why do you include Trotz in with that group? |

Lot of Caps fans on Twitter wanting management to blow it all up. Most wanting Ovi traded or for him to retire and play in Russia (thinking/hoping the Olympics will lure him)
Add the Caps to the list of teams to watch this summer |

So what you're saying is that the 'Hawks should trade for Alex O.? That's the first LW Toews has been missing!

I am all for Ottawa v Oilers would serve Betman right to have the smallest two markets in CANADA in the cup finals - so much for parity |

Hey Rick, you don't like Trotz and I do. We know that. But this isn't on Trotz. That game should be in OT right now. I can't wait to hear Bill Waters to go off on OV yet again when he's on XM again with Scott Laughlin.
Just like you can't win the cup in November but you can lose it, one guy can't win the cup but one guy lost this one. The only slacker on the ice. |

Gary Bettman acts in accordance with what the owners desire. The owners collectively wanted the salary cap and a leveling between the have and have-not franchises. |

Coasting back to watch Rust bury the 1st goal and a weak clear attempt on goal 2. I knew the Caps and Ovi were destined to lose after Fleury's butt end of the stick stopped #8 on that point blank chance in the 2nd when it was still 1-0. Do the Caps finally trade Ovi?? |

Trotz plays not to lose and he always does. Dresses 7 D tonight including worthless Orpik instead of an extra forward who might provide some offence.
But it isn't on the Coach really, his team was out goaltended over 7 games and their defence group isn't Cup material.
I'd sign Justin Williams in Chicago if its doable.

Make Q watch it. The Pens aren't more talented than the Hawks, but they continually cycle players to the slot while the puck is on the perimeter or below the goal line, and they usually try to get it to the guy cutting in.
Hawks play perimeter hockey.
It's about system and will. Pretty boy players who don't want to go to high traffic areas won't get it done in the playoffs. |

Fiscally unlikely. Also, he'll be 36 at the start of the season and is a RW (don't think he can play on the left side either). He'll probably want to get one last pay day (3-years; $11-12 million or something like that). |

Valid points - some analysts on the NHL network (XM radio) were actually agreeing with the 7 defensemen line up.
I respect Trotz - always thought he got more out of a cash-strapped roster Poile would hand him. |
