I think there is a chance. Heiskanen could be the most NHL ready d-man in the draft. But we would likely need to move up to get him.

If we can add someone like Brendan Smith in FA, and add Antipin and Guhle, then I'd say that's a start.

But I am of the mind this team needs to operate under the assumption that we need to acquire a #1 D man.
