Something like that.

So his assumption is NFU>DCT

Pedan in the NHL is also a big leap of faith. He wasn't even the Comets best dman last year. Colby Robak was their #1 dman(27 y/o former 2nd round pick of Florida who's free to sign with any NHL team).

I like that they brought back pedan for depth and some toughness but he is a long shot. Nice guy but not very bright

You're right, his hockey sense has always been questionable. Otherwise he'd already be in the NHL with the Islanders with the size/shot/toughness he has. Repeated concussions didn't help either. He'll probably be irrelevant unless he really bounces back next season.

He should be interesting at training camp and preseason. Pedan misses the yaletown lifestyle. He is probably going to hammer a few guys

Let's see how he does at camp, first.

I really hope they don't rush prospects which is looking like this moronic fan base is pushing for.

If our own scouts are saying Neil's defensive awareness is poor.... as a defenceman... glad to see they are culling prospects that don't improve

I have a feeling that our D will be this next year

Edler Stecher
Juolevi Tanev
Hutton Gudbrandson

Biega Pedan

I'm okay with this, doubt sbisa leaves the team though, I guess Vegas will need to make the cap floor?

Is sbisa the only guy we are exposing?

Brilliant deduction. We need that here for what gets passed around by certain manly self proclaimed clown fighting graduates. They think their poop don't stink. On the other hand I wear a full hazard suit for my toxic dumps.

Speaking of turd reduction are you for or against OJ being considered at camp for the roster? He's adding strength training and Salo shot school. Hmm interesting how that develops.

how about... if he's good enough, he makes the team? We really have no idea what he will be after the summer.

That's how it's supposed to go, right? The Rush theory vs the Ready theory is hard to extrapolate given fact specific circumstances. For instance, if OJ is better then Pedan and Biega. Assuming Sbisa is gone to Vegas. Then should OJ be on the roster?

Bo appears to show up to training camp every year with a new trick.

Year 2, Better, more accurate shot.
Year 3, Vastly improved skating and acceleration.

Perhaps he works on his distribution skills this summer. He certainly has the size, I.Q and determination to continue to push his trajectory. Assuming he plays with BB, who has an unreal knack for finding open spaces and shooting lanes, Bo could very well develop the confidence to wheel and deal.

I would agree that his tendency to hog the puck mid-way through the season was concerning...

- Whiskey-Tango

Yes. Amazing how you, Don and Northnuck said exactly what I did in my original responses to DCT. As we started that conversation but not a single acknowledgement of it. We left with his opinion that Bo can't develop those skill sets to make him an elite 2C for a contender. It's DCT's take you either have it or you don't. I disagreed about development when it came to Bo for the reasons you confirmed in your post.

Maybe I should have flooded the thread with outrageous wording instead of a couple civil retorts of discussion. I only say this (not directed at you) as it's typical that posts to ridicule are focused on and not the ones that have laid out the same points that are later talked about in agreement.

Reading all the whining on Twitter about the Ducks game. Lucic crying I don't even know what goalie interference is any more

In the playoffs you either give it up the ass or you take it up the ass. Oilers right now are takers,

- VANTEL

Sportsnet central was (frank)ing hilarious postgame, they go "well in the face of this kind of adversity the oilers should lean on the guy on the team who has lots of experience, having been to the final and been through these tremendous challenges and he can help settle them down"

Cut to lucic with his voice shaking staring at the floor "i dont even know what goalie interference is anymore!"

no-one has said this but you. Obviously he wouldn't be.... is he even 20 yet? it's also not very hard to beat out Pedan/Biega.... also no-one wants Sbisa. I doubt Juolevi plays with the team next season, unless a lot of lefties get injured.

I guarantee you the Winner of the SCF will win it on a bad Icing/ Interference call. To this day, I still don't understand it. It must be really frustrating for the players

Im glad they didnt sign them. Hopefully that means he will be adding a couple for free agent Dmen with actual potential. I hope the culling continues next season. If they dont show improvement or NHL potential in there time in Utica then see ya later.

Huh? Said what? Don't understand where you were going with this? He'll be 19 at camp if that helps.

So if you agree he's better then Pedan & Beiga and Sbisa is gone what does that leave you with at camp?

Who are all these need to be injured lefties you speak of ahead of him? OJ can only play if he's on the roster. If not, then ONLY choice is junior. Not eligible for AHL or Europe.

I hope both teams lose ....but man have the ducks ever been getting the calls this post season ...what are they like 6-0 on reviews

- Redmile247

Neither ANA or EDM will get past Nashville but that's not the point…they have to be getting those calls right. EDM really is getting hosed.
