What exactly was he supposed to do? When the shot was taken his head was being smushed between Nurse and Talbot's arms, Nurse was over top of him for the majority of the play too. Kesler's hand was on his stick, he didn't so much pull open Talbot's leg as stop it from going with the rest of Talbot, but that's Nurse's fault, not Kesler's.

It was a goal. Kesler was put into the goal crease by Nurse, he was just trying to get out... Hate the ducks equally but I really hope they beat these talented yet pathetic heartless oilers.

This thread is a prime example of what's wrong with the league's rules on interference. The guidelines need to be more precise; it's too subjective right now.

Tough day to be an Oilers fan. That is goaltender interference all day during the regular season. I absolutely don't want to see Edmonton win but IMO that should have been no goal.
