I think dressing Neil has to almost be a given at this point. He may be "done" according to some fans but they could use that edge. They may get a boost from him since he seems to be considered one of the leaders on the team.

That Sens team we played last in the playoffs was a hell of a lot tougher

The forward depth is definitely better on the Rangers. I would still really like to see Buchnevich back in there but there will be no tinkering with this line up until there's a a loss or an injury (as there should be).

I just won't be surprised if Neil is in. Though, like you I would not exactly mind it. A little leery of the physical aspect he might bring especially after the comments he made about being frustrated over not being able to defend his teammates from the press box. He may be extremely motivated out there.

Buchnevichs time will come next year. He getting just a taste this year and I don't see anything wrong with it. You can def see him at times a little lost but also some time where he is gonna be real good. Can't rush kids, especially Russian ones haha. AV has done some things pretty bad, but I think he's handled Buch very well, especially in the playoffs. He's pushed the right buttons with him and Glass, being in or out. I'm sure they'll be another moment when they may need to infuse some offense and hell be back in. Otherwise an injury would get him in

im as big of a Buch fan as you'll see and I couldnt agree more. his time will come and this is a great sneak peak for him of what its going to take to play in the playoffs. We're only 10 games into the PO's, things change with injury or poor play so its not crazy to think he wont get back in

All of that is spot on. Buchnevich is getting a good account of what it will take to succeed at this level and he will be better prepared for the NHL next year.

His back injuries earlier this year show that he wasn't ready for the rigors of an NHL season just yet. Hopefully he learns from this and comes ready to play next season

he never played in another other NHL system so he's basically home grown.

Wasn't Werek the comp pick the NYR's got for Cherapanov (sp?).

We're starting to see the Lindberg that won playoff MVP when he led his team to a championship in the SEL.

Unless they can figure out a way to protect him, I'll be shocked if Vegas doesn't pluck Grabner in the draft. Thrilled and shocked

Unless Gorton trades a pick(s) to LV, we'll be seeing him do that for the GK's next year.

Lindberg too would be tough, Fast also. My wet dream would be Holden, sorry Matt lol. Raanta too I would feel ok with. Nothing against Raanta, I just think it's fairly easy to find a back up goalie (more so then replacements for the forwards mentioned)

But we got shizznit to take care of! Just that Grabner has been enormous for them, I think about it

No need to be sorry, its not like I think Holden is irreplaceable. Just that he is a good salary 3rd pairing and a known commodity.

It's gonna be either Grabner, Fast or Lindberg. And i have no clue who I would want to lose out of the 3. I like them all

I was surprised it wasn't mentioned that he won the playoff MVP in Sweden before coming over, he's a playoff performer, have to make sure he's protected

If they sign Bishop or Elliot (or both?) I would imagine that they don't take Raanta with only 1 year remaining on a UFA deal

McPhee loves Grubauer. Can't see why he would pick Raanta over him, although it's really all dependent on how the domino's fall and only GM the GM knows how that will go.

There will be plenty of available goalies and Vegas only needs 2, so the 3rd will need to be RFA or under contract so they can get trade value. I think Raanta is safe.

McPhee needs to build a minor league system, too. A goalie who can backstop a young team to some success would be pretty valuable.
