more than the fans, that arena is just strange. The puck bounces off the boards like a nutbag

Not sure I am following that metaphor

Gonna be tough for the Rangers going back into the Sens barn, not having last change, and dealing with 4,000 crazy, screaming fans

Its really an extreme breath of fresh air to be the team that intimidates. All these years they would be banged around and such, take it on the chin..but the team toughness, besides Glass and Smith individually for example, is such a great turnaround. Both series so far you've seen it, and I (frank)ing love it!

Should they get past Ottawa here, the caps pens opponent is certainly going to see a completely different team then they did, last year in the pens case and the caps this year regular season. Should bode well for that series. Can't be over confident tho, just have to keep the petal to the medal.

Nicky the Pinch played a great game last night! Keep it up Nick

Love what Smith has brought since the trade, it's rubbed off on some of the other guys and changed the mentality of the D. Last night Pierre said, "Skeji is becoming a star right before your eyes" and he's spot on. The growth the kid has made this year is great, he's going to have some real good years ahead of him for us. Hopefully Vesey can join the party, kids been busting his butt out there hopefully he can get rewarded.

I'm glad the Rangers are back to playing solid hockey.

I can accept the Habs losing to the Rangers...

I can't accept the Rangers eliminating the Habs just to lose to the (frank)ing Sens.

Finish them!

Remember how Smith was before the playoffs began though? he was just... blah at best. Glad to see he stepped up and in the playoffs when most get worse, he wants to stay and if this is the real Smith, he is quite welcomed!

Vesey has been grinding, he hasn't made any mistakes at all and he is involved, I'm really impressed with his work ethic and how he has stuck at it, even though he isn't scoring. Good character sign for a young player

Pierre also said the Rangers defense is set for many years to come on the left side with McD, Skjei and Staal o.. lol Staal has been better of late but I dont think anyone is looking at years to come and hoping Staal is still there

Still not sure what Turris was thinking. Maybe he didn't realize it was Glass and if he did, he has a set on him. Have to give him that.

Such a weird series. So different than the Habs series which was each team getting pummeled for every inch of ice.

The people that kill glass have no idea whatsoever why he's in the lineup but I don't think anyone expected to him contribute offensively like this

I thought it was a good idea for them to start shyt but Ryan and Turris shouldn't be the ones doing it. They have been manhandled for a few games in a row. Not sure how it was vs Boston. Ottawa fans saying Neil is done but they may dress him for obvious reasons, Saturday should be intresting

I didn't see much of the Ottawa/Boston series either. Neil wouldn't bother me dressing at all. It would be the same when the Rangers played against Ott in the Habs series.

Ottawa needs more chances against Hank, I don't think Neil does that.

I think dressing Neil has to almost be a given at this point. He may be "done" according to some fans but they could use that edge. They may get a boost from him since he seems to be considered one of the leaders on the team.

Glass doesn't usually create chances either, but he brought intangibles that they apparently needed in games 3 and 4.

The Blue print has been laid out... NYR hockey style to win in the P O's

Yeah. Think its a little different situation though. Rangers have a little deeper forward group than the Sens and putting Glass on the 4th with Lindberg and Fast/Grabner doesn't change much. I personally wouldn't mind Neil in the lineup because it takes that spot away from a more skilled player.

Nice work Jan, Sens have led for 4:11 this series and they're imploding, Karlsson is a couple more hits away from his season being over, we need to put our foot on the throat, it would a great thing to finish these guys off on Tuesday, Boucher is gonna have to make up one great story to spin this back in their favor

The forward depth is definitely better on the Rangers. I would still really like to see Buchnevich back in there but there will be no tinkering with this line up until there's a a loss or an injury (as there should be).

I just won't be surprised if Neil is in. Though, like you I would not exactly mind it. A little leery of the physical aspect he might bring especially after the comments he made about being frustrated over not being able to defend his teammates from the press box. He may be extremely motivated out there.

Whats he going to defend them from? Clean hits? He will spend most of his time in the penalty box then. I say put him in the lineup
