Hallelujah and praise be. The Blues got a third period lead and didn't try to sit on it. They kept their foot on the gas.

Great all around effort.

Except when they're on the power play.

That power play mid second period was the strangest thing I've ever seen. It was like they didn't know how to get in the zone. They looked live five guy staring at their car wondering who has the key.

I know right? When the PP is sucking you just got fire shot after shot to keep the pk honest.

Im not a stat guy. But it just seems to me that when you get into the playoffs so many teams are evenly matched up or close to it. So when one team gets an early lead score effects is going to play into a lot of these games. It's natural and unsurprising that the team ahead is going to bleed more chances because they don't have to press as much. I don't think its that complicated. Doesn't mean that the team giving up more chances is the worse team, it would likely work the other way if the scoreboard were reversed. Just my opinion.

That was my same argument concerning the Minnesota series. But there were elements Minnesota was better at and the Blues must have felt better playing defensively against it.

Agree with that. We don't need to resort to that crap to beat this team. Just have to play like we did a month ago.

Next time I will write blue ink to clue you in. It was a shot at Reaves's play not an actual wish.

On a seperate note: we have found a team worse than the Blues at playing with an empty net.

Three and a half minutes to play, up 3-0 and the goalie pulled and Edmonton loses. Holy moly, that's brutal and hysterical all at once.

Great game last night. If we could get our PP clicking we'd likely be up 3-2. Am I the only one whose blood pressure goes up 30 points when we are on the penalty kill?

their game tying goal made me officially give up trying to predict if they will call something goalie interference via review or not.

So when Schwartz tackles a player near the net penalty, but when Subban does it all series long legal?

Call the frank both ways.

FIX--when a team once again gets calls that are not made for the same bs the other way.

Subban is a joke. How else can he do what not other player in the league is allowed and only be called for it twice in six games when he does it numerous times a game???

I want to see him do that against Perry or Getzlaf.

Stick to that other black lives culture league the NFL Nashville fans. Your classless white trash chants don't belong in the NHL.
