with Gorges/Fedun/Falk/Nelson as our "next-ups", I'll be more excited for this team than I was going into last year.

i dont think it has to be one or the other. If a team with too many d-men offered up a young top 4 guy who you believe will be better than whats available on draft day youd do that in either case.

I think win now would be the decision to spend right up to the cap. prioritize additions instead of making room for young players etc.
