That may have been the most exciting playoff game I've ever seen
Especially all the ups & downs in it
Unreal

It's sad we never got to see his full potential

Just like Derick brassard after that concussion his rookie year he became half the player he was supposed to be

- GERBE!!!75PTS

he had flashes

never had the "it" factor

if he worked as hard as briere or drury he could have been special

he didn't

Hopefully Laine doesn't have any issues moving forward. I would feel bad about that one since it was McCabe. Totally legit check though, but still.

11 year anniversary today. So sad. Wonder if Schopp and BD will commemorate it today? Yesterday was the anniversary of the Drury goal and they broke it down like the Zapruder film to open the show. Take that reference for data B.E.D.

How could he avoid concussions that delayed his career? I could understand you saying he doesn't try hard but he was never on the ice he's always injured

I believe if Tim was fully healthy we would be comparing him to the likes of Henrik Sedin

Connoly made our PP so lethal. He used to just walk into the zone and players would back off. He had amazing hands

Yeah, he would have been a 20g/50a guy every single season after the lockout if he didn't have head issues.

he never had the drive to be exceptional

product of fun and gun and decent pp team

he was ok, but let's not make him out to be any more then he was

a decent second line player who fit in good for a pp unit

Well, he seemed to bounce back pretty good, I think he even had another hat-trick after he came back. Winnipeg needs him to stay healthy and play at a high level. He'll be a regular 40 goal guy going forward.

The team had a really rough year in general
I'd take him in a heartbeat

He's also RH, so he would play w Risto...
but that's 2 great pieces to anchor our top4

Man I disagree. I think if he played a full career we'd be talking about him in the same breath as Mogilny and LaFontaine.

It seemed like he used to have work ethic when he was working out with Ryan O'Reilly and then he quit for some reason idk .. I was hoping he would go to Team Canada but they didn't want him

So hopefully he calls Gary Roberts to help him out this summer

As high as Reinhart's "Hockey I.Q." supposedly is, everything else about him is mediocre and no, I don't count 100mph slap shots in a team skills competition.

O'Reilly playing with Skinner and Schiefle. O'Reilly didn't lose a face off in the 1st period.

Im one of the biggest Connoly fans. He was unreal at his peak. Just a fantastic player that got ruined by concussions

Idk about offseason habits...
but Timmy was going balls out for us towards the end of his time here
Diving to block shots & such
He became quit the good PK guy as well

I think it just took him a while to get over the concussions

3 minute 22 second mark

it's a crappy video but

he was behind the detroit net, flipped it over the back of the net as a pass to himself in front of the net
and buried it

to this day, the greatest goal I have ever seen from a skill standpoint
