As in one??? Or are we counting the 14/15 season where he played seven total games before tearing his ACL and missing the rest of the year? - jmatchett383
Defensemen like Ghost and Gudas just can't fill the Luke Schenn sized hole in his heart.

I do understand that, if one or both of Sanheim and Myers (2 most likely candidates) can bring most of what Ghost can and offer better defensive games that Ghost does become somewhat expendable. But there's nothing wrong with having multiple players who can provide offense from the back end, especially if you can allocate their minutes appropriately. Also, as excited as I am for those, they've yet to play 1 minute of NHL hockey as of yet.

Neither of those kids are small and both are dominant at lower levels. I understand what you're saying but this is the #2 overall pick, really good chance he makes the team. - ClaudeFather
Patrick serms like a lock to play in the NHL next season if healthy. Hirschier might start in the AHL.

I just want 6 Dmen that can all skate well and most of whom have good skills. An eventual D that is something like the following would be awesome.
Provorov-Myers
Sanheim-Gudas
Morin-Ghost
You've got Ghost & Sanheim on the 1st pp unit and the top pair on the 2nd. On the PK, all but Ghost can do the job. If this is the Flyers D in 18-19, I'll be thrilled.

Can they really all pan out this way? Call all the kids develop into playing regular shifts in the NHL?
I sure as hell hope so.
The track record with Provorov and Ghost shows a 2 for 2.

I think Hexy will get a good look at Mackinnon and Duchene working with G and package some assets to get one of them. - Konalover
You do realize we have the 2nd overall pick, right? Why on Earth would Hextall pay what Sakic is looking for when we've got G, one of Patrick or Hischier, and Coots already?
