So Yeo enters the game talking about how this would be a street fight. In game interview he talks about it being a street fight. Then, when a street fight breaks out and he and his guys get their butts whipped, he complains about the refs. Yeo needs to look inward.....there's a good reason why he's coaching his second team this year.

Hardly. And not even close.

He is? Who else has Yeo coached in 2017?

Right on. Officiating in this league is bad and has no hope of getting better. Everyone has to live with it. It's not slanted toward or against any one team, it's systematically bad all the time.

Joel Edmundson has as many goals as Vladimir Tarasenko.

Berglund and Perron playing on what's supposed to be a second line have been invisible offensively. Schwartz, Stastny and on and on, not getting it done.

Allen's been good enough. Not stand-on-his-head good, but good enough. Blues aren't scoring enough to win.

Preds are just better. It's not over yet, but 3-1 is a tall deficit.

If Nashville wins this series I have no issue tipping my cap to them as the better team and I'll root for them going forward.

Yep. And where they have been better in this series starts behind the bench

Just like on-ice officials, they are not allowed to comment to the media, so take that for what it is worth, rather than some misconstrued action on their part.
- Mashadar

It was my understanding that the supervisor could comment but the on-ice officials are not allowed to do so. not that it really matters to me or that it changes your point really.

They've been lopsided in each game however. Much like the Blues shouldn't have held a 4-0 edge in game two, the Preds shouldn't have received as many more as they have in 3 different games which has a much larger impact on the series.

Regarding Subban (commented on by somebody else), he clearly embellished the hit. If he didn't embellish the hit and was truly rolling around in that much pain from a shot to the head, then a great disservice was done to him to allow him to remain in the game instead of going to the quiet room.

Austin Watson made his presence felt with several big hits (and a couple shot blocks). I hope he gets burned Friday at least once for the many occasions he leaves his feet to deliver a hit (and i hope the Blues convert for a change).

Love reading Paul's article on here today. female doging about the Blues female doging about the refs when he himself dedicated the majority of his article to doing so after game 2. Also states Yeo blamed the officials solely and took no blame, but in his press conference stated the Blues should've killed the penalty.

Excuses suck, but geesh. Really need this team not to feel sorry for themselves when it isn't going their way.

it doesn't help that the Blues captain female dogs at the refs in the middle of plays too much. One dumb thing he learned from Backes unfortunately though Backes was better about it last year. It also doesn't help when players show them up - Upshall stick break as an example.

Like it or not, that stuff matters. Like it or not you develop a reputation.

Blues vs #Preds series penalties:

PP opportunities: NSH 10 STL 9

Total Time on PP: NSH 16:29
STL 18:21

Hope all is well with the potential flooding up there.

I think you also forgot how many 5-3s and 4-3s has Nashville received? How many picks are set in order to gain space for a point shot?

Game two officiating was a joke as well. No way the Blues go an entire game not committing penalties.

The key is that a team needs to take advantage of what the officials are giving them. In general, imho, it's not like both teams are doing the same team and only one team is being called for it.

Regarding Upshall, I would have given him either an unsportsmanlike penalty, or a 10 min misconduct. Probably the misconduct since the penalty was missed prior.

I am ready to be rid of Reaves and Upshall

They are decent role players but in the playoffs they have not been good IMO

Reaves had a decent game 2

but Upshall has been awful IMO

Someone correct me if I am wrong but the blues have not won a game 5 at home since beating the Sharks in 2012
