Can anyone explain playoff game dates to me? I always thought that a team played every 2 days until the round(or the beat the other team) is over. But they have teams going longer this round. Ott should have played today and Oil should be playing tomorrow. When did this change and why?

TV ....by moving the Ottawa and Edmonton games they have the Games in the east time starting first and not against each other along with the west games later and not against each other

I get Dbot wants to find a fun way to get through the rebuild. I suggested that the tank to get a top pick talk doesn't bear fruit. You can talk about it all you want. It won't make it true and odds are will leave you wanting.

So suggested how about we focus on the things that are happening to get us through until the next draft lottery.

The 2018 draft speculation for the Nucks really starts after April 30th 2018. Just like it is now for 2017. Already we got which center will fall, and if none do, which D to pick debates going.

Mentoring from good players and good people is never a bad thing....the sooner you accept that the Sedins are going to be here until they decide to leave, the sooner you will be able to enjoy the rebuild.

I'm really stoked where the team is at and who is on the roster at this point. I haven't been back reading much but I'm amazed every time that I log in, how negative everyone is here.

Lol Lefty is so butt hurt over JV not scoring in our top 6 already and Mcann being traded away he has all JB draft picks rated as busts.

As for prospects, we haven't seen Dahlen play in NA let alone pros. Why does he rate better then Goldy at this point?

Pretty much. He's all in for tanking to get a top pick. Still hasn't clued in to the reality of the new lotto that the odds say that doesn't pan out. But he's all for suppressing season after season to get the blue chip franchise player at the top of the draft. All other prospects are busts to leave in the AHL. At least that's how I have interpreted his ramblings. Sure he'll let me have it and spin it to what he really said or meant.

I like the fact that any non playoff team can draft top 3 . I also like we have a top 5 and 33 which is almost like a low first round pick

it sucks they basically changed the rules right when the canucks were hitting the bottom. Even TO last year 20% was really lucky. I think having last place at 25% atleast is a good start. What made it worse (just this year) was Vegas. %s had to be adjusted get them at 10% as well.

But just think of the canucks 3 years from now (hopefully). hopefully pushing for a PO spot, yet still available to get a top 3. we wouldn't complain then.

2 top 5 picks in the last 2 years now just make the right picks in all the other rounds.

Yes you did make sense. As in Nucks can be bubble fighting to the end and still draft in the top 3. Which you never know how soon that happens

Which is where I believe with the right coaching, enter Green, can do. My point the entire season on coaching having an impact and tanking being a false hope plan.
