(frank) no- Eberle is easily tied with Pouliot as the pooptiest players on the ice for both teams... Its embarrassing that the kid female doged about playoffs playoffs and meaningful games and he cant even get a puck out of his end and or plays end up dying immediately off his stick... He is (frank)ing atrocious

He is too skilled to just give him away though, blessed with a pair of softer hands than 85% of the league. I just wish he would be more engaged. If it weren't for RNH he'd be -5 tonight instead of -3.

I don't mind it at all. Can you picture gentle MacT or life coach Eakins calling out a player like that? Ebs wasn't the only problem last night but man he's doing nothing in the playoffs. 3 of our dmen are outscoring him. Nuge isn't much better but at least he's noticeable every game and playing a solid 2-way game.

Agreed. Clearly he's half assing it... I'd take a guy like Letestu over Ebs any day of the week.

I agree... And 2 years ago I thought man all Eberle needs is experience... But whatever he did this off season and season- he plain (frank)ing sucks... Weak AF on the puck- with the puck and often misses the net entirely... and he is near last on the defensive side- and the wussy rub outs he trys are pathetic... I mean (frank)- you have a great chance to go to the Stanley cup final- WAKE UP- these chances or opportunities only come around so often- if at all...

I love that Todd called him out- TBH I want him to do that more often or bench him (frank)... I would rather move Slepy up a line, move Eberle to the pressbox or 4th line and Pouliot to the press box and recall Khaira- cause Eberle and Pouliot are not in playoff mode at all... Their efforts affect outcomes... And face it as the Calgary fan said- Eberle held back a wired McDavid and Lucic who were flying last night...

I'm gonna pull a likely unpopular move and call out Kassian too. Since games 2 and 3 of the San Jose series, he's basically vanished. No real big hits, no offence, not much for chances.

It's actually kind of amazing that they're up 2-1 in the 2nd round considering that they've basically has no 2nd line scoring and the top line is being checked mercilessly. Were it not for some great games by Talbot and some timely bottom 6 scoring these playoffs could look very different.

They need to put together some full team 60 minute efforts or they'll get eaten sooner or later by a team that is doing so.

I don't disgaree at all. Slepy is playing hard as hell and has a couple of goals. Give him a shot up higher. Give Ebs some time lower down to think about it. They demoted Draisaitl ffs, and he went off after that.

Draisaitl is our best FO guy at 52.4. Testes is at 46.6. Why do they keep referring to him as our only FO specialist?

Everyone was saying that. Just wait until we get in the playoffs finally, Ebs is a clutch goal scorer. No, he hasn't been that player in a long long time. His game has been in a downward spiral for years. I've been an Ebs hater for a while now. For me it comes down to a lack of effort. As soon as that starts lacking, it's easier to notice other parts of his game that have been declining
