All in good fun, my man. Just killing time until puck drop. I've been in London this weekend saying goodbye to my girlfriend who's going back to the states so I missed the last two games. Now I'm back in good ol' BLO with nothing to do so I can stay up until 5 am again, and I am beyond excited

Wow, great start to the series. Crosby, Malkin and Kessel are doing what they are supposed to do. I just love seeing different players step up and make big plays for the team. Obviously Guentzel is playing incredibly with Crosby. Cole is probably their best defenceman right now. Cullen and Bonino step up with clutch goals at critical times. Love this team.
Playing with a 7th defenceman wouldn't be a terrible strategy, but I hope they would consider bringing up Sprong and giving him a shot on the 4th line. Hell, the way Sheary has been playing, I'd sit him down to Sprong a shot for a game. |

Also, on Murray... if you can get a top 3 pick in the draft for him you absolutely pull the trigger. He has been very good so far, but the Pens still don't know if he can actually carry the full load of a season. The injuries should be very concerning.
I'd be A'ok going into next season with Fleury and Jarry splitting the load.
Murray & Pouliot for Dal 1st & Niemi 1/2 retained. Pens have Niemi for the expansion and can buy him out if he isn't taken. I dont think Dallas would pull the trigger without an extra piece like Pouliot coming back. |

Some decent morning reading for ya fellas via the Pensblog.
Nice little part comparing Holtby and Fleury's low, mid, high danger save percentages. - j.boyd919
I can't wait for the "Holtby can't win a Cup" narrative to start up. |

So no real update on Horny that I can find except from yesterday him being "questionable" for game 3. |

He was in the dreaded walking boot. That's the only info I saw. F. |

That's a guarantee no play tonight. But do remember, Hagelin was in a walking boot recently as last week and he's back. Doesn't necessarily mean he's out long term. |

Two points in the first four and a half games, got bumped down, then looked disgustingly bad game 1 this series, and meh game 2...
But seems hes getting the bump back up just because Horny is hurt. |

The only forward who got less TOI in the last game was Hornie.....obviously because he got hurt.
Sheary had about 9mins. I think that pretty much says it all about Sullys confidence level.
He's been that bad. It's one thing to be in a scoring slump. It's another to be a mess defensively and turnover machine. I think these big teams are manhandling him. He's never very solid on his skates, but (from my eyes) the Caps and BJ's put a body on him as soon as he gets the puck and he falls over. |

I was thinking that as well now the Charlottetown Islanders are done. Not sure how it works with him being added to the roster though since he's not with WBS this season. Can they Taxi squad him? I'm not sure how they just add him to the roster without him being assigned to the AHL roster before their season concluded. |

Sounds like the second PP unit was Maatta and Daley. So I'm inferring Dumo will play tonight simply because Streit would be on the second unit if he were in the lineup.
I can't say enough how much I hate Maatta ever appearing on a PP unit. |

According to the walking brain fart also know as Ron Cook in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the reason the Pens are successful so far is because of Maatta's "Stellar" play. I kid you not.
