Rangers will win 3-1 in Game 7. Put your money on it. |

When the Sens deserve it they'll get it, I saw more battle from the Habs, series isn't over by a long shot despite how (frank)ing irate I've been for the last 19-20 hours, Rangers are very capable of pulling it off it's just a question of will AV be a good enough coach for 4 wins - KreiderBomb
C'mon - The Senators gave the Rangers 2 shorthanded goals - Krieder's goal was just a fluky shot and the Sens mucked a 3-on-1 which ended up with Skjei scoring. I would say that it was the Rangers who were lucky to be up 5-3 with those gifts.
You saw more battle from the Habs? The Senators have won both games after the Rangers took leads - including a 2 goal lead with 4 minutes left in the game. I'm not sure what your definition of battle is but saying they didn't battle hard? They could have just resigned themselves to the fact that they lost after Skjei's 2nd goal but they didn't.
No doubt the Rangers can come back if they get the next one at MSG. We'll see what kind of battle they have in a must-win game.
It's fine that nobody respects the Senators - they are definitely feeding off that underdog status... |

I said going into this series that the Sens wouldn't be easy to beat, honestly I've been surprised because they've looked less terrifying than I thought |

AV's explanations for his decisions are flat out garbage, I've lost all faith in him as a coach, can not continue to make the same mistakes, if Game 2 in Montreal didn't teach you anything about your personnel and how to deploy them you don't deserve to keep your job, I will not watch this team if he's still coach and let's face it he will be because he gets the Rangers to the playoffs and Jim Dolan makes his money, Sather was allowed to fail for 15 years because the seats were still full, the organization is doomed to eternity - KreiderBomb

24 hours later & I'm still devastated, one of the worst losses in years of watching many disastrous playoff meltdowns, Pittsburgh in 92, Drury's goal in Buffalo in 07, etc. |

Goes both ways my friend. Giradi turned over the puck and Hank let in a softee. Sens got a great bounce of the boards for another. Both Hayes and Holden took themselves out the the play for 2 separate goals.
Point is the Sens haven't looked like they should be up 2-0 nor are they a scary team. Sure they get some nice chances every once in a while, but dont dictate play. Sorry to hurt your feelings, but they are just an ok team that knows how to counter off a trap.

And, you understand how understated this edition of the Rangers appears to the objective viewer. |

It's just amazing the Sens are up 2-0 and have led for about 5 mins out of 150 or whatever it is
It's no doubt the Rangers have beaten themselves more then Ottawa has beaten them. That and they seem to play better, over the years, when their backs are against the wall, has to gives us hope. But I just have a hard time believing they can recover from Saturday. To a man I doubt any player has ever lost a game like that. And they are home which isn't good either lol. Sens do not give up which could ultimately win them the series. I try not to disrespect the other team, but both these teams will get their doors completely blown off by Pittsburgh anyway so winning this series is like who goes into the coffin 2nd
My son is officially a fan, he is 8 yrs old and cried all night last night. It breaks my heart he will have to go through what I'm and we're going through. So it begins for him tho
I'm done with JT Miller. Never wanted a player traded more in my entire life take his regular season stats and shove them up his ass, he has an IQ less then that of a hockey puck
Nash continues to not get the big goal. He had the OT goal on his stick, im convinced any other player in the leauge gets a goal there. Still a great play by Turris however

Pain is finally going away. Gotta move on and take it one game at a time...rangers could be up 2-0 right now but we can just hope for a game 3 win and take it from there |

As soon as the goal was scored I turned off the TV and didn't look at anything until yesterday.
Why does a game that has no bearing on the real world whatsoever affect us so deeply? That loss completely ruined my Saturday night.
Well, on to game 3. |

If there's one knock I have against AV, it's the teams inability to close out games. Going from torts where we were like 84-0 when entering the third with a lead to blowing 2 goal leads in the playoffs/SCF in the AV era over the last 4 years, it's clearly an AV issue. |

Game 3 should be tonight, this 2 days off poop is brutal, reminds me of the 2 day break between Games 6 & 7 of the 94 Finals. That was excruciating waiting for that game. |

Wether it's love or trust or Holden has something in him, I for the life of me have no idea why he puts him out in crunch time. It's Capuano type of stuff. Holden is single handily responsible for the last two crushing losses. Not exonerating anyone else, but both goals im talking about were basically the end of two of the worst losses I can remember being a fan |

That stat is pretty telling. I remember them bringing it up all the time until the streak was snapped and losses kept happening in that fashion.
I don't even know what to think at this point. I'm unsure I even want to watch game 3. That tying goal was absolutely maddening, worse than the final goal in OT for me. I had already accepted defeat at that point which I know to some is ridiculous. It just seemed as though they simply could not gain control in that game again. |

Hey Jan maybe they should a played Clendenon...
Most critical i have read here of A V ..usual practice when big losses occur
gotta say big loss ,even bigger comeback coming
Otss were worried about getting swept WELL howbout 4 straight NOW
getting to Sat tied at 2 will set stage for the return of the debacle site w/3 minute sleft....We will beat them like a drum next 4.....
teams comeback from the abyss & when they do its over..they steamroll thru
when u beat a team for much of the game yet keep shooting yourself in the foot
you tend to grind even harder ... WE WILL
how u can back seat drive the way he used his team is sad... why would you sit
Shey & Smith? weak play ? what were they going to just snap to it?
BUchny ? how bout MIller ...what is he trying to do out there is a mystery?
we will come out Hard & fast like we did last game with resullts ..
Hank aint having 2 gms in arow like that ..how many puck luck deflects have gone in NOW..law of averages will start to apply
L G R ..get your tkts for Tues gm 6 closer at Garden week form tomorrow ...

Yea I had no faith they were winning once it was tied.
Then Nash has another OT open net and once again the puck just won't go in |

I agree to an extent but they always seems to have proper coverage on him. Something that the Rangers don't appear willing or able to do to other teams top players. Sometimes he still makes the play despite this. |
