Can't wait to read your next post. When can we expect it? I mean if this was a boxing match the Caps would have won by TKO in the 1st round. I mean the Penguins were just sooooo lucky. Stay classy Caps. Can't wait till opening night 2017-2018 when the Caps raise ANOTHER Presidents winning banner.
By the way I hope that classy POS Tom Wilson can play next game and isn't suspended for a head shot. LETS GO CAPS!!!!!!! |

Can't help but feel bad for Washington fans .
Next game will be interesting to see how Caps come out. If Pitt scores first I think you will see Caps have a collective break down. |

How bout that Tanner? I guess the Pens were Lucky again. Fleury and Crosby are handing the Caps their rear ends this series. Crosby has easily been the best forward on the ice....Followed by Guentzel. The Caps "Far Superior defense" has only been Marginally effective. And the goaltending battle has been cleanly won by the only guy that hasnt needed to be pulled from a game. The caps have played really 2 periods of better hockey better than Pittsburgh. 2nd period tonite, and 3rd period in game 1. A few period have been even. And I am pretty certain the Pens are in Washingtons heads. Maybe you should blog about golf.

The Penguins are without Murray and Letang and Hagelin. Without those three players, it's arguable that the Leafs were a tougher opponent, meaning that the Capitals might (for once) have an easy path to the Finals.
The Capitals will win in five.

Come on guys let's not give Tanner a hard time. I mean the Caps thoroughly outplayed the Pens again tonight. It was all luck. |

All kidding aside, this series really should be a long way from over, because the Caps really are a very talented team....but you have to wonder at this point how they respond to how this series has gone. They have to be just beyond stunned. |

Obviously Fleury is having an incredible resurgence, but it looks like the dreaded "bad matchup" scenario. I agree, the Caps are a real good team.
Pens are tough to beat at home, but it's far from over. |

There is a serious amount of luck going / not going either team's way. THAT SAID, the Caps seem like they want to either skate the puck into the net, or take annoyingly tame / predictable shots from the point.
Pens do a great job of just getting pucks to the net when they have the chance, and I haven't seen the Caps do that as much.
They better be (frank)ing desperate on Monday, otherwise this series is over. Have a little (frank)ing urgency ffs. Every godamn year it's like they just expect things to work out in their favor. /endrant |

Uh, what about just total games won? Who's the moron now? - james_tanner1
Its winner of the last game of the season. Past 10 seasons for instance:
PGH
CHI
LAK
CHI
LAK
BOS
CHI
PGH
DET
ANA
Which makes you the moron. Though everyone here already knew it.
This also coming from someone who opined a couple, three weeks ago LA was one of the better teams in the league even though they missed the playoffs by several points.
Have a nice day! |

I have been watching Orlov, not sure what you see in him but he's pretty run of the mill. Not bad at anything but not good at anything either. Shattenkirk has been pretty much a bust. So has Ron Hainsy to be honest. |
