He wasn't really a big name even with that Cup win in Anaheim... he came here, won another... Sid fought for his extension and he got a 3rd cup last year... He legit loves Sid like a brother.

The NHL Review process is laughable. How do they review it once and it's a good goal, then watch the EXACT SAME REPLAY 90 seconds later and it's No Goal???!!!!

You forgot the refs. How do you miss the interference to keep the puck in the O-Zone. That has got to be called, or else every offensive guy can interfere with the defense. Sorry, not impressed with a team that has the refs working for them - all season and the playoffs.

Cheap shot by Niskanen and that's a Concussion. Olcyk is a shmuck that was an intentional roughing up of Crosby. Pulls the "unless you've played at this level" card. Get bent Eddie O, that was intentional. Crosby probably done for the night...

I said on this sight in the second month of the 2016 season that the Hawks are going to become the Red Wings if we didn't start trading some of our core players...now after two straight exits in the first round...we all should realize it's time to trade at least two of our core veterans or next year might be the last year of filling the seats at UC. Seabrook, Toews, Panarin, Keith should be on the top of the list to be traded.

If Stan is looking to trade a forward (for whatever reason) I don't believe there are any easy answers or one solution that everyone will love. I agree that Anisimov is worth his cap hit and he's worth keeping around. If any forward gets traded I'd say it's Panarin. I'd hate to see the guy go, but you have to give up quality to get quality.

No sense complaining about individual plays in a specific playoff game. The bottom line is most of the long established rules of the game have gone out the window in the playoffs for quite a few years. The refs have either been told to keep the games close or let everything go until they find one thing that is blatantly obvious or they are just totally incompetent. I vote for the 3rd one.

Maybe the NFL should hire some of these NHL refs to do their playoff games - let lineman hit QB's 3 seconds after they have released the ball, allow blocking below the knees from behind, face masking, kicking and tripping OK. It would be great to watch.

A divergence of opinion smacks us as hard as that crosscheck to Crosby. The response to date over such crimminal action appears to be, Cane me again..and again please i will just take it.
