That was some pretty crazy $hit. I don't think I've ever heard of a natural hat trick in the playoffs that included 2 goals scored in the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period to tie the game, plus the double-OT winner. If you weren't familiar with the Pageau chant before, you certainly are now. Massive gut-check for the team - especially given the extent to which Brassard and Ryan have been MIA so far.
Of course, if that's what winning 2 games in a row looks like in this series, it could easily come back to Ottawa tied 2-2... but this is certainly the most adversity the Rangers have faced, and it's not always clear how a team will come together after losing a vital game that by all accounts should never have gotten to OT. Regardless, I get the feeling that the 1st period of Game 3 will be a 20-minute assault that Anderson should be prepared to withstand. It would also help if someone reminded him that he's a terrible puck-handling goaltender.
