He was leery in the interviews at end of season

wonder if its cause he's not sure what the new coach thinks of him. Green's team had marky performing extremely well in the past. No coach left that will gift him games

That's true enough.
Miller will not sign a 1 year under 3m contract with Vancouver.
Wont happen.

i'd prefer a vet Goalie for Markstrom.

Im fine with him on one year deals until Demko is ready.. I just dont JB tossing out anything longer than a year for a goalie or UFAs that arent out of JR or college.

I'm super pumped about Griffin, Hill & Darboh ... Pocic & Jones are really nice (& necessary) system fits.

Hey Bachman had a shutout in one of his few starts here.
Could be too strong.

Fowler is a UFA 2018. Any chance he gets there? He's making 4M and only 25. Sounds like a big pay day for him. So if Ducks see they can't get past Oilers. Are they thinking rebuild? Trade a D they can't afford to keep? Caps won't be able to keep all their D either end of season. These are all examples of D on the move that can hold up trade scenarios for any Nuck D. Lots of impediments besides will and contracts to moves for JB.

i wanna say relax. dial it back. certainly no rebuild with getz and perry there. but their contracts are a bit of an albatross. thats only going to get worse as years get on. they have montour/theodore/manson.... much cheaper options. they will keep lindholm. so that leaves fowler and vatanen. one of them likely on the move in the next year or so. even as early as this summer.

the key for the canucks is to keep ample room under the cap. to take advantage of other teams cap concerns. this should come into play when the Sedins pull the chute next year.

A question is hyper reflection? Anyway taking the hyperbole out, Perry who?!?

As for Nucks they have room for a Cap dump. It's the incentive or reward that matters. A draft pick return scenario, on a cap dump, usually comes with an albatross contract not what Nucks need.

Plus other cap dumps are for good player like MG lucked out with Erhoff. Nucks not looking at those now. They want to develop kids and shed some more vets if possible.

It's about impediments to trades and the market that's the point of questioning all these simple solution calls.
