If we fall out of the top two position? Cody Glass should be our go to guy. Most of his points this year were 5on5. He also had almost half of his points on the road. Even playing against the opposing teams top shut down huys all year, he still put up a ton of points. i watched him play against the Cougars and they had no answer to his line all series. This kid has the pedigree of a PAtrice Bergeron.

is the winking face mean your post is sarcastic? If it isn't I agree 100% If it was sarcastic, well go frank yourself

fixed it to a thumbs up. I do think Nico fits better because of his offensive flare, you want dynamic offense from your top C. "Complete package" to me seems like a safer pick. The descriptions I see remind me of a bigger version of Bo, which obviously isnt a bad thing, but the way Nico could be "complimentary" means to me more of a contrast in styles thus tougher to defend

Send player back to junior to ensure sucking again and getting a better player in 18

Exactly how I feel, he is just a better fit. We don't have any dynamic prospects like Nico.

If the Seahawks could come out of the 2nd round with Lamp and Baker I'd be blown away.

Nico stops scoring goals on Feb 5th, so he'd be perfect for next year's tank. (half kidding, relax Don...)

We need 3 years of drafting and 3 years of development, hence 3 years away from being 3 years away.

Everyone keeps talking about how next years draft is going to be significantly better than this years. Anyone worried at all that potential FA signings and the coaching change will land us 5-10 spots higher than this year? Seems like it could be dreadful luck for us considering we always do better in strong draft years

Agree to disagree. Forward group is small and weak. No one other then Bo that makes other players better.

No. The players Van will get in the next 3 drafts will be NHL ready. Presidents trophy contention in 18-19 season

Thats why I am in favour of taking a player eligible for AHL or NCAA (outside the top 2), I like the progression aspect of it. For some of the kids drafted from the CHL, they already have 100 point seasons under their belts, its tougher to come back and nitpick areas to improve in a league you already dominate

Don't re-sign Miller and play the kids, problem solved.

I agree we are way too small but I always believe in drafting BPA in the first round. In this case, the kid that clearly has the most skill in my opinion. I wouldn't be upset if we landing Patrick's size as a consolation prize either though

I'm,just hoping the Eagles get lucky and grab King in the 2nd...I like him better than Barnett who's more of a 2nd/3rd round player imo

Exactly, Nico is all flash and glory. Patrick does the little things to make the players around him better and the team to win.
