Don't need to watch ...just have to come in here for the hysteria that will follow ....the over/under for bans is set at 4.5

Place your bets ...

- Redmile247

I'm going to take the under, got to imagine anyone coming to troll will see the in-fighting and just back away slowly...

The thing is, we have such a divide in here that the trolls aren't really left with much material to work with

True ...but you'll still get the regulars who will come in with either

Your picking 5th ......or ...first overall in a yak/nuge draft

If they win a top 2 pick: Nuge/Yak material from trolls

If they draft 3-5: Posters here will be talking about how tanking never works and start another civil war

We'll get a good pick according to JB. Lotto luck WTF it's all good people. Some fodder to chew on until the draw. Since we got prospects on the mind.

Green has worked on JV all year. He believes he's NHL ready. He reshaped him to work hard and earn a role in the NHL. Not wallow in top 6 entitlement. Play well for the team first. Guess he believes if JV doesn't get wrapped up in star status he'll play well. Perhaps develop from there.

There are 6 forward and 1D (2 Vegas factor) spot(s) open without trades.

Green's top youth choices: BB, Goldy, JV, Dahlen, OJ & 2017 1st

Signed vets: DD & Megna + on D Biega & Subban.

That's it people. Let's say Green sees these youth NHL ready. Then, given choices, why wouldn't all the youth make it?!?

We could use a nuge......and the Nail fail .....Ruskie....

Patrick has been talked about for years......I concede that is is a weak draft, but for us, that 1 or 2 pick WILL make a difference. 100% better than (insert one of the many rookies we played this year).

just sayin

Linden on the draft: "We can't be selective. Perhaps the player you pick at 4 or 5 will be every bit as good as the player at 1 or 2." (1/2)

A few days ago I tried to see who was on Russia's WHC roster as I was curious to see who is on their D if Tryamkin wasnt invited, but nothing was posted yet on the tournament website

Patrick had a lot more hype a year ago than today because his production for his age in the WHL was amazing, and he had a great playoff run as well. People expected him to be even better this year, but he was pretty much the same, if not worse.

2 things to consider though:

Injuries - he was in and out of the lineup

His team - They were 48-18-6 last year with WHL stars like Provorov, Quenneville, Hawryluk on the team, all 3 were gone this year and his team finished at 31-31-10

So clearly his numbers were a bit inflated last year playing on a stacked junior team, but at the same time players usually get better year to year in junior since there's so much growth in players at that age from year to year.

So people are wondering who the real Patrick is.

Either if the top 2 will be good imo ...and if not in the top 2 your still getting a good prospect which is all you can ask for

I agree about the injuries, and the need to be wary.... So consistency is hard to predict, but even with injuries he's been consistent. Has he been injured because he plays a hard leadership style.....he can focus on game in the nhl, and not being a team leader. He has a good game.

Nico is great too.....Patrick is who I would pick....just personal preference.
