Well here it is, the day has arrived where the Canucks pick top two (the odds are in their favor) and finally get a great young center to play with Horvat for years to come!

We are talking Vancouver correct???

They are all idiots, doesn't mean the stupid poop they say doesn't need to be laughed about. No one in here cares about the leafs, so not sure why you are in here spouting crap about them.
- manvanfan

I'm all up for fakenews but C'Mon man, if there's one thing people (most not all) here care about in life, it's the Leafs.

More Leafs content in here than Mike's thread.

Craig Button believe that Patrick would be better for the Nucks instead of Hischier.
I know believe that JB board looks like this
Hischier
Patrick
Liljegren
Mittelstadt
Vilardi

- manvanfan

I'm hoping for Hischier personally

You'll also notice until he said something there wasn't a mention of the Leafs for pages, so then you lump everyone together and say we're talking about the Leafs...which is false.

Now scram so we can talk about the lottery and how we're going to win

I honestly hope you guys win tonight. Not a US team. The leagues a better place with a good Vancouver team.

It's sad what's been going on the last few years.

Draft skill. Stay well away from size and anyone who resembles Virtanen, Dubios or Logan Brown.

Meh....building is a process that takes time. It was only six years ago the Canucks were in the seventh game of a Cup final. It's not like we've been waiting forever to see a Cup final or be good.

I also think Patrick would be better for this team, especially in playoffs, you know once canucks finally make it back there. Hishier would be entertaining though

What number will Hischier wear for the Canucks?

I'm guessing something sexy like 71 or 91.

Good luck guys. Unfortunately I have a feeling some sad sack American team like Arizona and New Jersey will get the top 2 picks.
Good core players are available though. Mittelstadt, Vilardi, Glass... you will get a piece of the puzzle.

- iknowbest

It's 4th or 5th which is fine. Biggest issue is getting a pick back for 10-20.

With Vegas and ARZ in the mix Bettman will make sure they are taken care of.

13 is unlucky.

27 reminds me of Momesso. He needs a skilled number.

Beginning of next season all Cups, Presidents Trophies, Conference Finals and player stats become null and void as there were only 30 teams.

Looks like he wears 18 for the Swiss National team, he can have that as Virtanen won't be needing it for awhile ........................

Sergio...we can thank Nedved, who had a good career, for Sergio and the crew from St. Louis.

Virtanen will be better next year. I'm optimistic.

Sergio didn't come in the Nedved deal. It was Jeff Brown and I believe Lafayette.

Trade: Geoff Courtnall, Robert Dirk, Sergio Momesso, Cliff Ronning and future considerations traded from St. Louis to Vancouver for Dan Quinn and Garth Butcher.

I still can't believe the Canucks have retired any numbers except Bure's.....utterly ridiculous and embarrassing for the franchise
