Oilers wouldn't need 7 to beat the Sens. And PK will hoist the Cup anyhow. Know why? Cuz he gives to charity.

Imagine if he does. This is Patrick Roy all over again.

I think it's safe to say the Habs are already the big winners of the offseason.

To be honest, I'm still hoping for that big trade or big UFA signing that will make me excited for next year.

Time will tell...

I don't expect much, they don't have the assets to make a trade that will not cripple them in another area.

They will also need to find another puck moving defenseman. Jeff Petry sometimes look like he's the solution, but often not. Weber is good and all, but he's not the guy that will make that outlet pass, or carry the puck in the offensive zone. Markov isn't getting any younger.

They'll give Beaulieu (if he's still around), Jerabek and Sergachev a try next to Weber if you ask me.

The number one centre issue is the one I'm hoping will get settled in the summer....

I can't shake the feeling we'll see a trade between Colorado and Montreal for Matt Duchene... but that may be wishful thinking.

I'm not holding my breath.

...and if the Habs trade for Duchene, it's guaranteed they'll get raped in the process. I'm talking "à sec, pas de lube".

Not sure I'd take it that far. The return in this trade was far better.

of course...but still...If PK wins it and he brings it to Montreal's Children Hospital this summer...we're not hearing the end of it soon.

Which as the venerable Independent shows us

is clearly indicating White Power for the Alt-Right.

It is a trick by the alt right to take standardized signals and co-opt them into their own meaning to make it look more people agree with their point of view than actually do...

It is like when they have those stupid... wear blue jeans day to support cancer. Everyone is probably wearing them anyways.

there are like 4... maybe 5 star-level talents in this organization. it would be difficult for Montreal to get drilled in a Duchene deal. not impossible. but difficult.

all signs point to it but i'm not so sure. this team has a severe shortage of high end talent. and that was true even before the PK trade. you can't just keep dumping your most talented players because they make your coaches or their teammates sad.
