That doesn't mean Vlasic is an offensive player or throws big hits; it was a comparison of someone who's good defensively but he isn't going to win a Norris Trophy or a fight either.

Tanev is not offensive but he's great defensively, his downfall is he can't stay healthy. Even he's scored around 20 points a year when he's been somewhat healthy.

Vlasic has averaged 24 points a year in his ten healthy years. Pickles is obviously the better player but you get what I mean.
