Who knows with that idiot. Seriously, why the (frank) would you play your D evenly, when one of them is (frank)ing Brooks Orpik?

That being said, do you think Alzner draws back in over Schmidt when healthy?

yeah that would infuriate me. i still think this is gonna be a long series. but schmidt had some really good moments.

theres no need for brooks to be seeing that much ice. obviously, ill take every minute he can give you guys.

Trotz indicated he'd consider going 7 D if Alzner is healthy. Also said that Alzner's spot isn't guaranteed when he is healthy, because Schmidt has been playing well.

Doesn't matter, because he thinks playing Orpik for 19 minutes is a successful formula.

From TSN

Scott Wilson, Nick Bonino, and Conor Sheary - The Penguins trio was buried in the defensive zone (1 for, 20 against, 4.8 CF%, 0-8 scoring chances) and were on the ice for one goal against, but Wilson ultimately set up Bonino for the game-winning goal in the third period.

Yikes, don't need those stats to tell they were bad except for GWG but it does confirm. Hagelin will be a welcome addition.... Wilson can sit, Sheary quickly becoming an odd man out right after him.

Wait! I'm so confused... The Pens are already out of the playoffs, right? I mean they've lost the "possession" battle 5 out of 6 games. How can you lose 5 of 6 and still be playing?

Great result - gotta keep it going now. Looked (from the highlights), a (frank)ing great game???

Can I ask a question. How the (frank) does play continue with a player without a helmet on?

Flower - he can do better

I think the third line needs an upgrade and we will be OK.

Well...really when ya think about it the weakest link on the Pens last night is the current leading scorer of the playoffs. He was terrible. He will be better. Sheary had some blunders but he's on a new line and I think he will get it together. He wasnt one of the leading points per 60 this year for no reason.

I don't like Sheary and Wilson on a line together. I don't think they compliment each other well. Hagelin to the third and Wilson to the fourth with Kunitz and Cullen makes for a good bottom 6.

That flapping bird goal celebration by Kuznetsov last night wanted to make me go through the screen and give me a little tap. What a douche.

I agree and I thought Kunitz looked pretty good on that 4th line ...and that was only his first game after a long lay off.
