It's playoff hockey. Should be expected unfortunately.

Is elbowing to the face playoff hockey? Sure doesn't sound like playoff hockey to me. This is a sport not a savage brawl.

Well for 20 years I've complained about it..garbage league refs to keep parity.

The reffing has been terrible over the last four or five years. To be fair, both teams are getting away with their share of stuff.

The league needs to get back the post-lockout way of calling of penalties.

They've called 2 too many men on the ice calls in the other game. They've met their quota for the night.

The kicker is we all know that the pens get the next call against. When that happens tell me how everyone including the players and announcers know it's coming? It's a farce and it's not favouring any team...just parity.

What the hell happened to Conner Sheary? I'd think about scratching him when Hags comes back. He was brutal every time he hit the ice.

Oh and Maatta still skating at glacial speed.

Think he got a bit hurt in the last series... hes gotten a step or two slower, and its very noticable. He wasn't like this all year

Everyone should just come to terms with the fact that penalties are going to hard to come by in this series. This is the marquee match up of these playoffs and nothing makes a series better than bad blood all over the ice.

Could benefit the Pens not having to face the Caps PP. Also the Caps eyes are going to get wider thinking of the hits they can throw and look how that worked for CBJ.

The pace the Pens are pushing is too much for the Caps.

Lotsa game left. Looked like the Caps pulled their heads out of their asses the last 10 or so.

I can't come to terms with that. Since players can take the mindset and start aiming to hurt. Pens can't take much more injuries before they don't stand any chance at all.

I honestly wouldn't give him another shift. I don't want to punish the kid, but he's really, really struggling.

Sheary hasn't even been that bad. Have to remember he's on a brand new line after being with Sid for so long. Let him aclimite.

I think he got the message. He's been skating hard. I gotta admit it'll be nice to hear RW stop talking about is PP60 after some time off Sid's wing.
