Maybe they will, but I don't think they'll come close to matching Columbus in physicality. The Pens had to constantly look over their shoulders in that series. Washington isn't coming close to that......yet.

I honestly think this is just who they are. I don't think they have the ability to turn it up come playoffs. They weren't even overly physical against the Leafs and they're fairly slow.

They don't have playoff performers on their roster.(sans Williams)

They shouldn't. They're better than that. Getting too physical with the Pens instead of playing hockey is a recipe for losing.

If they get a goal it will give them an adrenaline surge. I don't think they are a speed identity team like we are. I also think that make some dumb decisions with the puck at timmes.

Seriously. i get letting them play but an elbow to the head is a call 10 times out of 10. How is that in any way ok? But remember everyone "the refs favor the pens". SHM
