Dammit. I remember seeing him there now.

I could have had 10 minutes and still forgot he was here.

Kulikov surprised me cause he was injured half the year

- sbroads24

Less surprising when you factor how awful he is.

The one that surprised me more was mccabe at 2nd best

This has to be just on ice differential, not individual, right?

there are about 14 more pressing needs then reinhart

including a 7 million dollar second line center with no 5 on 5 production

Oh, absolutely. But aside from Eichel, Ristolainen, Kane, Lehner, I think the rest of the team fully deserve criticism for not stepping up or progressing.

Moulson was actually looking good until that (frank)ing idiot of a coach pulled him off the power play and kept playing Gionta on it. I don't hear anyone making excuses for him and he was on pace for a 25g season until he got yanked from the PP.

Also, if "All NHL systems are pretty much the same" (who said this? Gorges? Gionta? Bylsma? can't remember) why did our team have such a hard time? Then you hear guys like Iginla say it (Bylsma's) was the most complicated system they ever played in.

What? So a stretch pass through the neutral zone and a dump and chase entry into the offensive zone is somehow too complicated for a former 50 goal scorer, yet all systems are essentially the same?

There is something that just did not add up this season and I don't think that bomb dropped yet. There was something else going on that we are completely unaware of.

I'm putting the puzzle pieces together and a lot of them are words directly from Pegula's mouth. He absolutely 100% micro-manages the Sabres right down to individual players. The organization from the top down is a complete cluster-(frank). And this guy blissfully hands out the pink slips and keeps everyone on a short leash from the looks of it. I get a lot of micro-aggression from him and he's so casual about it, he plays the innocent fool role when really he's a buffoon with his spoon in everyone's pudding.

Dude, I never said any of the bolded part. And since I have said a few times that yeah I expect more of him because of where he was drafted, I would absolutely expect something different if he was a 4th round pick but HE WASN'T.

How on EARTH is "fixing the D" going to miraculously make Reinhart a 30 goal scorer? Not gonna happen. He might be a potential 70 point player but I sincerely doubt he will actually ever break 30.

I bet you're one of the guys who yells "SHOOT" every time a Sabre has the puck.

- BeadyEyedDouche

IMO I just think you are putting too much stock in a "Draft Position" Sam will be fine, he will score between 20-30 every year. By fixing the D offensive players theoretically will have the puck on their sticks more, I think we were 4th from last in offensive zone puck possession.. You can't score if the other team has the puck all the time....

unless they were jack eichel or a player fighting for his job, they all floated in the second half.

part of its probably bylsma, but i put a lot of stock in the friction between the vets being overtaken by the younger players.

someone should tell the vets the letter on their jersey doesnt really mean much when you suck.

I think you are under the assumption I don't think Reinhart is decent/good. He is.

Just not anything more than an average top 6 guy at This point

Bingo! 100% agree. He is also in the mould of the Sedin twins. Same size, same hockey intelligence, lack of flash etc.
- SabreWest

Except the Sedin twins are by far the best players in Vancouver's history and are probably going to end up in the HoF. They've both been great players their entire careers. RNH already can never reach their level and from the looks of it, neither will Skunkheart

it's a clusterf@ck

throw the okposo situation in the mix and this team really needs 2 kids to step up from the mix

baptiste, fasching, bailey, carrier, nylander

they really need to get 35 goals from 2 of them this fall

no i think its individual in that sense. the official glossary term on corisica is:

he's a kid

with a sh!tty coach for the last 2 seasons

if he doesn't take a step forward, I will join the mass but right now relax

murray didn't draft leon
he drafted a play maker because at the time he didn't envision having ror and eichel

give the kid a coach that will put this play maker with goal scorers

oh wait we are lacking goal scorers

Can't be.

That would mean that Reinhart drew 32 penalties this year.

My point is that would explain McCabe being #2, because his partner Risto never takes penalties
