Sorry was he going to say he didn't want to win? He has said multiple times he wants to stay on the Islanders. It will be a matter of negotiating a new contract. I doubt he leaves unless they refuse to offer a certain AAV/term.

No it hasn't. When was the last time you were in the Art Museum area? You haven't been affected one bit, yet complain about it. It's a great event for the city and a chance to shine in the National spotlight. The people that live there accept inconvenience because they know the very reason that attracts events likes this, increases their property values

I agree that it is a good event for the city. I like that Philadelphia is getting a spotlight. But tell us the truth. It is a financial burden and a logistical nightmare for local residents. Don't try to sell me on the financial benefits of this when everyone knows its BS. The data is out there for countless previous events in countless number of cities.

Also, generally speaking, those that vote yes on public financing for stadiums should be called a dope. Stupid people need to know their stupid.
