Any citizen who votes yes on public funding for stadiums is a dope. - Scoob
slightly on-topic...but the bid the US, Canada, and Mexico are working on for the world cup is pretty cool. Not really feasible for the Olympics, but a good idea nonetheless

I'd actually like to keep Raffl. I think he could still grow as a player and put up more offensive numbers. Injuries seem to keep him from sustained production throughout a full season.
The next Flyers arena will have public money used. No way will Comca$t pay for it. - dragonoffrost
Only a sucker will vote yes if it comes up for public vote. If the politicians somehow do it without a vote, they should all be voted out of office next time they're up for elections.

So would I, and I hope Vegas doesn't take him, because he's an excellent 5v5 player who would be awesome in our bottom 6 as a play driver. And on our PK if Lappy wasn't an idiot. With the team bouncing back 5v5, I expect top tier possession numbers and 25-30 points, depending on where he is slotted ofc. But he is what he is, and I expect zero growth. Doesn't need any to be a useful and cost effective player.
