Watching last night I was thinking about how he could be a flyer. I know he is 31 but he just plays such a complete game.

I agree, but I would trade Read and retain 50% since it's only one year. I like the guy, but I just don't see a spot for him with the way the roster is shaping up.

I'm not even sure how Matt Read fits in on this team the past two seasons. Was he even killing penalties regularly from start to finish this year? I think he was being used as a net presence early in the season after Weise failed in that spot.

Moving Read for half the price I think is the best move for both sides.

The amount of money it brings in for the city is always vastly overrated. Its a scam. Just like public funding for building stadiums.
