leafs problem on D is not the bottom pair options (hunwick, polak, carrick - next season maybe adding nielsen, dermott) but it's the top 4 rielly - zaitsev - gardiner - ? that needs an upgrade.
at this point of time, I wouldn't be surprised if (resigned) Zaitsev (exempt from expansion draft!) or Gardiner would be traded.
