Surely that's not an eye-popping worthy statement.

He's no McDavid, Mathews, Eichel.
I think he's a big ol ? to develop into a true 1c at this point.

I'm on the Mittlestadt hype train. I wouldn't have the balls to pick him over Nico or Patrick but I think he will turn out to be the best of the bunch.
- belcherbd

He scores a slightly better pace then Brock Boeser did. Less then Kieffer Bellows who scored at a better PPG then Brock. 19OA for Bellows last season and 23OA for Boeser in 15. Talking about taking him at 4th. And Clayton Keller scored at a much higher pace and was taken 7th last season in a really good draft.

His numbers in junior and internationally are light years ahead of Bo's and Bo is pushing 1B center status. Nico is also a stud defensively

My preference in order for Canucks not necessarily the top 5.

Patrick
Vilardi
Glass
Necas
Heiskanen or Valimaki

Trying to pick order in this draft is difficult. Some teams may pick a defenseman that they rate higher than some of the centre's at top of draft so I am avoiding predicting when they go until after Saturday ping-pong tournament.

best list i've seen!!

To be fair, I was doing that back when we were picking like 4-7. Nobody here knows my top 5 yet (& neither do I - it changes daily)
- DrChristianTroy

I can't get on the Middlstadt train. While his high school hockey stats are incredible they are still high school stats. He is top ten for sure but I have him outside my top 5. This draft is a crap shoot for a solid top 5. Everyone has their own views on these kids.

He will work out. You're right he just needs time. Once his mind is in the right place.

Yup.

I don't really give a (frank) about stats. I grade skillsets & potential.

If we aren't picking top 2 the draft basically blows…except for Foote..gotta get him somehow.

Interesting list...I wouldn't touch Liljegren with a top 20 pick but I agree with the rest of yours. Makar, Veslainen are in my top 10 and Heiskanen is my top D
- CanuckDon

Last season Jake Bean and Luke Kunin were the only 2 I didn't have in my top 15. I had them at 16 and 18.

Bo 2013-14 London Knights OHL 54GP 30G 44A 74PTS 36PM

Nico 2016-17 Halifax Mooseheads Loan QMJHL 57GP 38G 48A 86pts 24 PIMS

Not that they're really comparable players imo and of course there are a number of factors that contribute to players totals in different years...and to say nothing of the fact that Bo is not a 1C himself...hardly light years ahead.

Ummmmm

You are comparing D+1 to Nicos draft season. Bo was under a PPG pace in his draft season. Hence, light years ahead

That's his plus 1 season.
I would say for every 15 point difference in the CHL, would be about a 5 point difference in scoring in the NHL. So if Bo tops out at 60. 70 for Nico.

I post information on prospects and provide insight as to what I like about them or don't like about them. You post valueless one line comments with a winking face emoticon. But sure, whatever
